Simple Mp3 Download
I want to create a simple mp3 download site. No videos, no full blown community, only a place to upload mp3s. In fact members must be forced to allow their mp3s to be downloaded. The reason is because I want to create a site that internet radio stations and podcasters can use to quickly find and download free independent music.
I am hoping that this won’t be an expensive project because again, I don’t want a lot of features. All I want is this:
1) Artist signs up.
2) Artist uploads mp3s (which are automatically put up as free downloads)
3) Artist uploads 1 picture for their profile along with a short description of their music and a link to their actual website.
If you want to be able to download the music you have to create an account, but you don’t have a profile page, you just have a little area that only you can see that keeps track of the songs you’ve downloaded.
As far as searching for the mp3s goes, you should be able to search by “most recent”, “most downloaded”, artist name, artist song or by genre.
I have a couple scripts that I found that I would like used, but I can’t post the links here because scriptlance won’t let me. So, WHEN YOU BID PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS ON THE PROJECT MESSAGE BOARD SO I CAN SEND YOU THE SCRIPT LINKS.
When you’re bidding just remember, SIMPLE… not a lot of bells and whistles… just a user sign-up, simple profiles and mp3 downloads. Because again, the site will be geared towards internet radio stations looking for a quick way to find free, legal music.
I also assume that many of you may of already created a music download site, if so, you’ll just have to do a little tweaking, so I’m hoping for low bids to be honest.
