Data Coding
This is a project that involves entering some specific information from documents into an excel sheet. I will provide both the documents from which you take the information and the excel sheet with specific fields.
I will give you a list of around 430 companies and their prospectuses. You will have to extract four sets of information from them:
1.Information about the offer: This is available in the “Offering” section.
2.Information about the management: This is available in the “Management” section.
3.Information about stockholders: This is available in the “Principal Stockholders” or the “Principal and Selling Stockholders” section.
4.Information about underwriters: This is available in the “Underwriting” section.
I have attached a word document with detail coding instructions. I have also attached a sample prospectus and an excel sheet where I have offered an example of coding.
Those who are interested in bidding should code the relevant sections of the attached prospectus and provide that as a sample. Only after reviewing the sample will I finalize the bid.
