Improved Styling For Css Form

Hi there, thanks for looking at my project.

What I need is a simple redesign of a web form. The form functions perfectly — now it just needs to be styled to look really sharp, top-notch and professional.

The current form can be seen here:

http://www.autopages.com/admaker/index.php?dealer=AAP

The actual HTML page is here:

http://www.autopages.com/admaker/templates/main.html

What I’m hoping to do is to change the style/css of this little user interface so it looks more Web 2.0, more professional … maybe a little like the form of this page http://www.box.net/signup. Everything should be neatly aligned. The final form should work well in all major browsers, including Internet Explorer.

One thing that is important is that the new form should not be any larger vertically than the old one. In fact, if it could be made a little less tall, that would be good.

The way that I would suggest to do this would be to take the big text box at the bottom (that contains the code when “create template” is clicked) and put on the right, in a separate column (maybe make the box more square instead of rectangular). The box should still maintain its “text all selected” property.

Some other things I’m imagining when I picture the final product:

- The form is lightly segmented (i.e., each item is in its own “section” separated by thin lines from the others).

- the “add spanish translation” and “check to view/edit HTML” checkboxes can be small, less prominent, at the bottom within each segment.

- Drop-down menus with nice CSS appearance

- “Create Template” would be a strong green button like the “continue” one in the box.net for example.

- “Copy template” can be similar but gray.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Ideally, you would be able to provide me with a simple JPEG image preview of your design before beginning the coding, so we could make sure we’re on the same page.

If this project is completed successfully, there will be other CSS projects. Thanks and we look forward to working with you.
