Wordpress Widget Swfobject

I need a solution that allows the wordpress widget/sidebar area to use best practices like SWFObject to embed flash.

I run a blog that uses wordpress and the thesis theme.

I use widgets for the side bar opt-in, and that widget is in flash,.

While content works fine with these, these widget area don’t work with SWFObject which I need to do plugin detection, so that people with older browsers get blank.
