Fix issue installing programs on server 2003 by compustudent

We have a windows 2003 machine that is not allowing us to update quickbooks. It appears as if the registry is corrupt or something. The error we get is: “MSI returned 1612: The installation source for… (Budget: $30-$65 USD, Jobs: System Admin, Windows Server)
